Around 60 people attended the protest against the huge, unsightly, noisy and potentially dangerous wind turbines which Mercedes are hoping to build.
The Chronicle & Echo reported on the demonstration.
Interestingly, the comments following the article seem to be written largely by people from outside the village, who will not have to suffer the environmental problems often caused by such turbines.

A campaign to fight plans to build a wind farm near Brixworth has been launched following a public meeting.
More than 150 people packed Brixworth Community Centre last Thursday to air their views on proposals to build seven wind turbines at Lodge Farm, just off the A508 between Brixworth and Hanging Houghton.

A campaign has been launched against plans to build a wind farm near Brixworth after more than 150 people voiced their opposition at a public meeting.
Although the planning application for the scheme has not yet been submitted, property development company Bolsterstone is hoping to build seven wind turbines at Lodge Farm, north of Brixworth village towards Hanging Houghton.
